Teaser Tuesdays {13}

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

Grab your current read
Open to a random page
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Unknown: I have the first three books in this series on my shelf, at some point I'm going to have to take them down and read them. The covers of them are all gorgeous, but I'm waiting for them to mark the fourth book down to really cheap so I can sit back with every one of them and really enjoy the series. :)

Anonymous: I read this one back when it first came out. I was surprised at how much I liked it. Oh my God the ending. I can't tell you, but I can tell you that I gasped out loud.
