This week I can't get my eyes off this book, The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer Smith which will be released on January 2nd 2012.

What I love:

I just love how cute this cover is!  The fonts used is so adorable and it fits just right with the title of the novel.  I also love looking at that heart which "encircles" the couple.  The position is just appropriate.  With the fonts used, you can't help but zoom into it... but with the heart it balances everything out AND make you want to look at that sweet couple.  I like how the other people seems to be faded out.  It gives me the chance to really focus on the couple.  Too bad this will come out next year.  With a cover like this, I want to start reading it ASAP!

Cover Crazy Monday {12}

This week I can't get my eyes off this book, Juliet Immortal by Stacey Jay which will be released on September 13th.

What I love:

I love how tragic looking this cover is.  With the girl curled up as if she's waiting for the waves to engulf her is just so heartbreaking and so lonely.  I like how her red dress is in contrast to the light colored backdrop which is the ocean.  It brings her out and it simply draws your attention to her.  The line, "Romeo and Juliet: the greatest love story ever told, is a lie," is just so intriguing and makes me want to read it now.

Cover Crazy Monday {11}

This week I can't get my eyes off this book, The Girl In The Steel Corset by Kady Cross which will be released this week, May 24th.

What I love:

I absolutely love that red gown.  Let's just say I'm a little drawn to covers with red dresses, but that is not the only thing that I like about this cover.  Look at her right hand.  She has this thingymajig attached to her finger or is it her finger?  I want to know what that is and if that thing plays an important part in the novel.  I also love the expression on her face.  She looks like someone who knows a secret and the look on her face tells me that she'll use that to her advantage.  Good thing the book will be released this week, I'll get to know how this cover comes to play with the story.  I'm extremely excited about it!

This week I can't get my eyes off this book, Wither by Lauren De Stefano.

What I love:

I am assuming that the girl in the cover is the main character, Jessa.  I love the background.  I haven't been to Italy yet (let alone outside the country!) and I have always dreamed to go there someday.  Jessa looks so hopeful in the picture as she gazes through the Italian buildings.  She looks so happy, liberated even.  That's the reason why I fell in love with this cover!  It's simple yet full of wonderful meanings and possibilities.

This week I can't get my eyes off this book, Wither by Lauren De Stefano.

What I love:

I just received this book last week from Book Depository and until now, I haven't gotten over how gorgeous the cover is!  I already finished reading the novel and I can imagine Rhine to look exactly like the model in the cover.  I especially like how unique this cover is.  The pink outlines just pop out against the dark cover.  The different texture in the cover also gave a unique touch to it.  Argh!  If there is one book cover that I can't help but really admire, this is definitely IT!

Cover Crazy Monday {8}

This week I can't get my eyes off this book, Shattered Souls by Mary Lindsey and will be released on December 8th 2011.

What I love:

I love how the gown was cut into little pieces and depicts the title of the novel.  I also love how the shattered pieces are also rose petals.  I definitely like the choice of colors which played around in this book cover.  Well, call me biased, but I just adore anything which is colored red.  Anyway, check out how the title was written.  It has the slashed effect which also ties back to the novel's title.  "Love, Death, Destiny, Danger" -  definitely makes me want to grab this book and devour it in one sitting!

This week I can't get my eyes off this book.  It is the sequel of Nightshade, Wolfsbane by Andrea Cremer. 

What I love:

Nightshade has a very striking cover.  The texture of the book is just so wonderful, I want to just stare at it and hold it all the time.  Just like Nightshade, its sequel also has a very wonderful cover.  I like how the different shades of green is used on the cover.  I am assuming that it is Calla in the cover and her eyes are just so intense and they seem to be calling me to grab the book and read through it.

This week I can't get my eyes off this book.  This is one of Sarah Dessen's books.  To be honest, I haven't read any of her novels yet.  Shame on me, I know!  And I am going to remedy that real soon.

What I love:

I simply love how their feet are just barely touching.  There's a softness in it.  I also liked how that heart was drawn in the sand near them.  The location was just perfect and is just so sweet.  I think this is a very good summer read (it's summer here in the Philippines ^_^).

I simply love how Cassia is breaking free of the bubble of a world that the Society has created for them.

I also like how the cover depicts the plot of the second book. It clearly says that no matter the consequences, Cassia and Ky will break free.

What I love:

I definitely love how the heart was raggedly formed.  The black background made the whole cover emphasize the different colors that composed the heart.  In addition, I also like the scribble-type font which was used.

This week I can't get my eyes off this book.  AND it's not even out yet!  So here I am - mouth definitely watering just by looking at that cover!!!

What I love:

Definitely the color!  I simply love that RED lipstick!


I love the simpleness of the cover and yet it still gives that mysterious effect.


Is that blood in the bottle that she's sipping?  I like the way she smiles mysteriously while sipping.
